Description: This session will feature a candid exploration of social justice issues and the policy reform landscape with civic leaders and advocates from the NBA and WNBA family. Panelists will be invited to share their personal journey to advocacy as well as their perspectives on issues of racial justice and the role the NBA family can play in driving lasting change.

The National Basketball Social Justice Coalition is dedicated to using the game’s influence to advance racial equality through legislation and policy reform at the national, state, and local levels. As the Coalition expands its efforts, lawmakers are considering new laws and policy reforms that impact the right to vote, policing practices, and the justice system.
